<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that prevents uneven rotation of a rotating body in an image forming unit. <P>SOLUTION: A drive gear 36 is a disk-shaped member to be rotated by power from a motor 30. A bearing 38 rotatably supports the drive gear 36. An image forming unit includes a photoreceptor drum 4 and is detachably mounted on the body of the image forming device. A joint 44 is a transmission member that is connected to the drive gear 36 and the photoreceptor drum 4 to transmit rotation of the drive gear 36 to the photoreceptor drum 4, and is formed as a bar-shaped member having a regular triangular cross section. A main surface S1 of the drive gear 36 has a fitting hole H into which the joint 44 is inserted and a circular protrusion 52 surrounding the fitting hole H at a distance from the fitting hole H.
