摘要 The present invention relates to medium access control applied to a wireless sensor network, and more specifically, to a wireless network having a function of collision avoidance considering transmission fairness and a method for packet transmission which allow a transmission node which has waited for a long period of time to transmit a packet first based on a number of SW beacon signals transmitted from a transmission node starting to wait to transmit. According to the present invention, the wireless network having a function of collision avoidance considering transmission fairness comprises a plurality of transmission nodes to wirelessly transmit packets and a reception node to receive the packets transmitted from the transmission nodes; switches from a sleep mode to a wakeup mode and wirelessly transmits a SW beacon signal to notify the switch to the wakeup mode when a packet is transmitted by a transmission node; counts other SW beacon signals wirelessly transmitted from other transmission nodes until receipt of a wakeup signal from the reception node to set a transmission wait time based on a counted number; and wirelessly transmits a corresponding transmission packet to the reception node after delaying for the set transmission wait time.
