<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kiln mouth dust collector that attains both downsizing and safety of the kiln mouth dust collector and achieves fume removal comparable to or better than conventional bag filters. <P>SOLUTION: The kiln mouth dust collector 3 includes: a dust collecting part 31 that is provided in an extruder 2 and sucks in dust-containing air discharged from a kiln mouth 13 of a carbonizing chamber 11, wherein the extruder 2 pushes out coke subjected to dry distillation in the carbonizing chamber 11 in a coke oven 1; a cyclone dust collector 4 that is provided in the extruder 2, sucks in the dust-containing air sent from the dust collecting part 31 to separate the dust from the air and is provided with a cylindrical metallic body wherein the dust is centrifugally separated from the air, and the sucked-in air flows in a spiral along its inner circumferential surface while keeping the dust in contact with the inner circumferential surface; and a filter 33 that is provided in the extruder 2 and filters the air discharged from the cyclone dust collector 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
