1. A method for providing wireless communication, the method comprising:
enabling transmissions over a frequency band according to a Bluetooth (BT) communication protocol and a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) communication protocol in a station; transmitting, over a WLAN communication link and within a WLAN transmission window, a first WLAN packet according to the WLAN communication protocol utilizing a current WLAN fragmentation threshold; determining that a change in a WLAN modulation rate in the WLAN communication link has occurred; and in response to the determining, modifying the current WLAN fragmentation threshold to a modified WLAN fragmentation threshold such that a second WLAN packet transmission is completed within the WLAN transmission window, wherein the modifying is based at least on the change in the WLAN modulation rate and a frame duration of frames communicated using the BT communication protocol, and wherein duration of the WLAN transmission window is based at least on a frame transmission periodicity of transmissions according to the BT communication protocol. |
