According to the invention the device comprises a long rope mop (3) in the form of an endless loop, a propulsion Device (5) provided with a deflection wheel (4) for pulling the rope mop substantially straight under ice, a power device (7) provided with a drive wheel (6) for circulation of the loop through the drive wheel and the deflection wheel and a cleaning device (8) forcleaning of the rope mop from any impurities adhered thereto. |
