PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation dose measuring method and device that are actually used in high-radiation fields.SOLUTION: A scintillator light emission mechanism 1a of a radiation sensitive section 1 uses a ruby to be sensitive to radiation released from an object to be measured in a dose of radiation and emits scintillator light 1b depending on the dose of radiation. The emitting light is delivered to a signal processing section 2 that is spaced from the object to be measured through an optical fiber 3 with a fluorine-doped quartz core 3a. An optical filter 2a in the signal processing section blocks light of wavelengths other than a wavelength of the scintillator light. The light passing through the optical filter is photoelectrically converted by a photoelectric conversion circuit 2b to obtain an electrical signal indicating the amount of electrical power corresponding to the dose of radiation. |
