PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a conventional three-dimensional image target detection device has implemented a target discrimination to a target shape by means of an amount of characteristic of a predetermined shape, so that a computation load is high, and when the target has an unexpected shape or changes a movement direction, detection accuracy is seriously deteriorated.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional image target detection device is configured to: create a distance image that includes three-dimensional information using a plurality of pieces of infrared cameras; perform labelling processing to the distance image; calculate a position of center of gravity relative to the distance image of an area expected to be a target; calculate an amount of movement of a movement of the position of center of gravity of pre- and post-frames; and make a discrimination whether the area is the target on the basis of comparison with a threshold. Accordingly, the three-dimensional image target detection device is configured to estimate an amount of three-dimensional movement as to the position of center of gravity, which in turn alleviates a computation load and allows the target to be highly accurately detected. |
