PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cooling fan device capable of eliminating a need for a motor dedicated for taking-up a dustproof filter, and of reducing a cost, by taking up the dustproof filter by using a rotation torque of a fan motor.SOLUTION: A cooling fan device comprises: a dustproof filter wound around a follower shaft in a roll shape, drawn out from the follower shaft, crossing so as to cover an opening of a housing, and taken up around a drive shaft; a cooling fan arranged in a housing so as to make a blade be opposed to the dustproof filter crossing the opening; a clog detection sensor part that detects clog of the dustproof filter; a torque propagation part that propagates a rotation torque of a fan motor of the cooling fan to the drive shaft; and a controller that, when it is determined that the dustproof filter is clogged on the basis of a detection signal of the clog detection sensor part, communicates the rotation torque of the fan motor to the drive shaft via the torque propagation part to drive the drive shaft and make the dustproof filter be taken up around the drive shaft. |
