PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing capable of preventing the end of a large-diameter ring part from interfering with an outer ring and an inner ring, thus actualizing higher moment rigidity and a longer lifetime.SOLUTION: A tapered roller bearing 1 includes an outer ring 2 having an outer ring raceway surface 2a on the inner peripheral face, an inner ring 3 having an inner ring raceway surface 3a on the outer peripheral face, a plurality of tapered rollers 4 rollably arranged between the outer ring raceway surface 2a and the inner ring raceway surface 3a, and a resin cage 10 having a large-diameter ring part 11 and a small-diameter ring part 12 apart from each other in the axial direction and a plurality of column parts 13 connecting the large-diameter ring part 11 and the small-diameter ring part 12 for defining a plurality of pockets P to store and hold the tapered rollers 4. The tapered roller bearing 1 has a contact angle α of 35°-55°. The inner ring 3 has a flange part 3b formed only at a large-diameter side end out of the large-diameter side end and a small-diameter side end, and the large-diameter ring part 11 of the resin cage 10 has a cylindrical end 20 from which the outer peripheral face and the inner peripheral face each extend in the axial direction. |
