The present invention relates to a banking machine. According to an aspect of the present invention, the banking machine comprises: a medium insertion and withdrawal portion to make a medium inserted or withdrawn; a discrimination portion for discriminating the medium; a temporary accumulation portion for temporarily accumulating the medium; and multiple medium cassettes for storing the medium. Multiple banknote class mediums are accumulated in one accumulation space of each of a first medium cassette and a second medium cassette among the medium cassettes while same banknote mediums can be accumulated. In a withdrawal process of the banknote class medium stored in the first medium cassette, a banknote class medium to be withdrawn among the mediums which pass through the discrimination portion by being withdrawn from the first medium cassette is transferred to the medium insertion and withdrawal portion while a banknote class medium not to be withdrawn is transferred to the second medium cassette. |
