PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation of drivability due to a rapid change in the operating point of an electric motor in an electric vehicle including a transmission and a converter adjusting a voltage supplied to a drive device driving the electric motor.SOLUTION: A hybrid electric vehicle 10 comprises: a differential gear 20; a transmission 30; an inverter 52; a converter 54; and a control unit 60. The converter 54 adjusts a voltage supplied to the inverter 52. The control unit 60 controls the converter 54 so as to make the voltage equal to a target voltage. The control unit 60 determines the target voltage on the basis of a torque and a revolving speed of an output shaft of the transmission 30.
