PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain recording paper from being folded or jammed in a presenter, in a printer having the presenter.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by providing a printer having a print head for printing on recording paper, a platen roller, a cutter part for cutting the recording paper and a presenter part connected to the cutter part and having a paper discharge port for discharging the recording paper, in which the recording paper printed by the print head enters the presenter part via the cutter part, and is discharged from the paper discharge port, and the presenter part comprises a roller for carrying the recording paper, a flapper provided in a carrying passage of the recording paper between the roller and the cutter part and opening-closing the carrying passage and a recording paper sensor provided between the roller and the paper discharge port, and opening the flapper to the outside of the presenter part by stopping rotation of the roller when detecting the recording paper by the recording paper sensor. |
