PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus with improved matching accuracy.SOLUTION: A light source 32 for illumination generates light for illumination. An LD 33 generates coherent light. An optical fiber 81 generates a spatially random diffracted field speckle for the light generated by the LD 33. A temperature control circuit 36 controls the diffracted field speckle so that a speckle pattern by the diffracted field speckle is projected on a subject during a measurement mode, and the speckle pattern projected on the subject is reduced during an observation mode compared to the speckle pattern during the measurement mode. |
