PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superior coated lithium-nickel complex oxide particles having lithium ion conductivity, which enables the suppression of impurity generation owing to the absorption of moisture and carbonic acid gas because of its high stability in view of environments, and which is arranged so that a coating layer is never delaminated readily by achieving high adhesion.SOLUTION: A coated lithium-nickel complex oxide particle for a lithium ion battery positive electrode active material comprises: a nickel-based lithium-nickel complex oxide particle; and a polymer composition coating the nickel-based lithium-nickel complex oxide particle, and including an electron-nonconducting polymer and an electron-conducting polymer. The coated lithium-nickel complex oxide particle is a coated nickel-based lithium-nickel complex oxide particle which is superior in stability in view of environments, and has no adverse effect on battery characteristics. |
