PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replacement method for a cross beam capable of efficiently executing replacement work of a cross beam to be replaced.SOLUTION: A replacement method for a cross beam comprises the steps for: shifting a first inner sleeve 3A and a second inner sleeve 3B inserted respectively into both ends of the specific cross beam 2A to a side with cross beams 2B, 2C installed adjacent to the specified cross beam 2A; removing the inner sleeves 3A, 3B from both ends of the specified cross beam 2A; removing the specified cross beam 2A from the support post 1; inserting the inner sleeves 3A, 3B that have been shifted from both ends of the specified cross beam 2A to the side with the adjacent cross beams 2B, 2C into both ends of a replacement cross beam 2D by the support post 1; fitting the replacement cross beam 2D on a front side of the support post 1 while keeping the inner sleeves 3A, 3B inserted into both ends of the replacement cross beam 2D, to be fitted onto the fasteners with the inner sleeves 3A, 3B in between. |
