The vehicle is characterized in that the connection between the body (2) and the side members (4) is provided by two rows of a plurality of reinforcing pieces (5), regularly distributed substantially along all of the length of each side member (4), the reinforcing pieces being welded to the body (2) and each comprising a first supporting surface (6) disposed under the plane profile (2a) and a second support surface (7) applied against a lateral rim (2b), means of attachment (8, 11) being further provided to connect each row of reinforcing pieces to one of the side members (4).</p> |
