PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of transforming pre-coded signals for transmitting via an air interface in a MIMO wireless communication system.SOLUTION: A method includes a step for applying, at a transmitter, a transform matrix and a pre-coding matrix to a signal prior to transmitting the signal by using a plurality of antennas disposed in a first antenna configuration. The pre-coding matrix is selected from a codebook defined for a second antenna configuration disposed in non-scattering environment. The transform matrix is defined on the basis of the first antenna configuration and scattering environment associated with the transmitter. |
