1. An electrolyte for a rechargeable lithium battery, comprising:
a lithium salt; an organic solvent comprising a sulfur-containing compound represented by Chemical Formula 1 and a fluoroalkyl ether; and an additive comprising a phosphazene compound represented by Chemical Formula 3: wherein R1 to R8 are each independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C3 to C30 cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C3 to C30 cycloalkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 cycloalkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 aryl group, and combinations thereof; wherein: X1 to X5 are each independently a halogen or a halogen-containing group, and Z is NR9R10 or OR11, wherein:
R9 and R10 are each independently selected from the group consisting of a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C3 to C30 cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C3 to C30 cycloalkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 haloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 halogenated aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C7 to C20 arylalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 heteroalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 heterocycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 heteroaryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 aldehyde, and combinations thereof, andR11 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl group. |
