The purpose of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator capable of improving cooling capacity. Provided is a refrigerator (1) including: a first refrigeration compartment (4) that is kept at a refrigeration temperature; a freezing compartment (6) that is disposed below the first refrigeration compartment and that is kept at a freezing temperature; a second refrigeration compartment (5) that is disposed between the first refrigeration compartment and the freezing compartment at one side in the horizontal direction and that is kept at a refrigeration temperature; a freezing section (21) that is disposed laterally adjacent to the second refrigeration compartment between the first refrigeration compartment and the freezing compartment and that is kept at a freezing temperature; and a cold-air passage (7) in which a first fan (10) and a cooler (11) are disposed, cold air being discharged to the first refrigeration compartment, the freezing section, and the freezing compartment through the cold-air passage, wherein the cold-air passage has: a cooler compartment (12) that has the cooler placed therein and that is provided at a rear side of the freezing compartment, while extending from a lower portion of the freezing section toward a lower portion of the second refrigeration compartment; and an upper passage (9) that extends upward from the cooler compartment via a rear side of the freezing section while avoiding a rear side of the second refrigeration compartment. |
