In order to guarantee highly reliable measurements, the light source light intensity is checked before measurement; to this purpose it is necessary to add a new detector, and to that end an amplifier and an A/D conversion circuit must be added. This automatic analysis device is provided with an optical configuration in which, if a reactor vessel is not installed in a measurement port, part of the light from the light source enters the detection unit, and if a reactor vessel is installed in a measurement port, then light from the light source does not enter the detection unit. |
