A lamp holder (300) for a table lamp and a table lamp. The lamp holder includes a light scattering plate (310). The light scattering plate includes a first plate surface (311), a second plate surface (312) and side surfaces surrounding the ends of the two plate surfaces, wherein the first plate surface and the second plate surface are oppositely arranged. The light scattering plate includes at least one light incident side surface where light can enter the light scattering plate. The light can enter the light scattering plate from the light incident side surface of the light scattering plate. By the scattering of the light scattering plate, one part of the light is emitted from the first plate surface of the light scattering plate, and the other part of light is emitted from the second plate surface of the light scattering plate. By means of the lamp holder, sufficient illumination can be provided at an operation area placed below the lamp holder, and certain illumination can also be provided above the lamp holder. |
