1. A method for braking comprising:
(a) receiving a sequence of unfiltered braking command values comprising merged brake command values and anti-skid command values; (b) adaptively filtering said sequence of braking command values to form filtered braking command values; and (c) controlling a brake in accordance with said adaptively filtered braking command values, wherein said adaptive filtering changes from a first mode to a second mode in response to the content of anti-skid command values exceeding a specified threshold.
