In the present invention, a printer device has a print head, a platen roller, a frame, a release lever, and a spring. The print head prints on recording paper. The platen roller transports the recording paper sandwiched between the platen roller and the printer head. The print head and the platen roller are provided to the frame. The frame includes a side plate in which a frame groove is formed. The release lever moves relative to the frame. The spring is provided between the frame and the print head, and urges the print head towards the platen roller. The platen roller is provided to the frame while being held between the frame groove and the release lever. The frame groove is released by moving the release lever.
