PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylenic polymer for providing a molded body which is excellent in moldability, especially in mechanical strength and excellent appearance, in particular, a blow molded body, a pipe and a pile joint.SOLUTION: There is provided an ethylenic polymer which contains 0.01 to 1.20 mol% of a constitutional unit derived from α-olefin having 6 to 10 carbon atoms and having a ratio (Mw/Mn) between a weight average molecular weight (Mw) and a number average molecular weight (Mn) measured by GPC of 5 to 70, and a density (d) in the range of 945 to 970 kg/mand satisfies any one or more of (1) or (2) in a cross fractionation (CFC). (1) The weight average molecular weight (Mw) of a component eluted at 73 to 76°C does not exceed 4000. (2) The following relational expression (Eq-1) is satisfied. (Eq-I). (In the Eq-1, Sis the area total value of all peaks based on the component eluted at 70 to 85°C and Sis the area total value of all peaks based on the component eluted at 0 to 145°C. |
