PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire tread which achieves both low heat generation properties and wet braking performance at a higher degree.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition for a tire tread which comprises a rubber component containing a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (A) having a high bound styrene content and a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (B) having a low bound styrene content and a filler, in which the difference between the bound styrene content of the styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (A) and the bound styrene content of the styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (B) is 11 mass% or more, the temperature at the peak position of a temperature curve of tanδ is -16.0 to -6.0°C, tanδ at the peak position is 1.13, tanδ at 0°C is 0.95 or more and a value {|(tanδ at -5°C)-(tanδ at 5°C)|/10}(/°C) obtained by dividing the absolute value of the difference between tanδ at -5°C and tanδ at 5°C by the temperature difference between -5°C and 5°C is 0.045/°C or less. |
