PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide which is less likely to cause a fishing line to be tangled when being attached to a rod, is less likely to cause a guide ring to be detached and to be damaged even when it has impact, and can guide with little resistance to the fishing line fed out of a reel when being attached to a root rod.SOLUTION: A rectangular frame-shaped ring holding part 5A with a rectangular or oblong guide ring 4 forming a guiding through hole 4A for guiding to make a fishing line penetrate, a cylindrical attaching and mounting part 5B where a circular insertion hole 4A for externally fitting to a rod tip end of a root rod Ab is formed, and which is attached and fixed through the insertion hole 4A, and a leg part 5C located between the ring holding part 5A and the attaching and mounting part 5B are integrally formed of a prepreg made of a high-strength fiber.
