PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine seal device capable of preventing grease leakage from a space filled with grease and stably retaining the grease.SOLUTION: A washing machine seal device 1 comprises a main body 2, which is made of an annular elastic body, and an annular reinforcing ring 3. The main body 2 has a gasket part 4 and a seal part 5 that tightly contacts with a shaft. The seal part 5 has a first lip part 51, a second lip part 52 and a projection part 53. The first lip part 51 is formed at an end part of the seal part 5 on motor side. The second lip part 52 extends from an end part of the seal part 5 on washing tub side and a space between the second lip part 52 and the shaft is sealed. The projection part 53 is an annular part formed between the first lip part 51 and the second lip part 52 and extends in a direction from the end part of the seal part 5 on the washing tub side to the first lip part 51 side. A space 55 is formed between the first lip part 51 and the projection part 53, which is filled with grease. |
