PURPOSE:To obtain the titled mixer keeping the concn. of a solid substance uniform, by providing spiral outside and inside stirring blades rotating around a vertical axis in a fixed container to generate rising and falling streams and making the angle of inclination of each of said stirring blades larger than the angle of repose in a liquid. CONSTITUTION:Inside and outside stirring blades 22, 24 are spirally wound around a rotary shaft 20 so as to be respectively clockwise and counterclockwise and the angle of inclination of each of both stirring blades is made larger by 5-15 deg. than the angle of repose in a liquid. In this constitution, a liquid containing a solid substance is charged in a fixed container 10 and a drive part is operated to counterclockwise rotate the rotary shaft 20. Whereupon, the inside stirring blade 22 generates a downward stream in the liquid and the outside stirring blade 24 generates an upward stream. Therefore, a falling stream is generated at the central part in the fixed container 10 while a rising stream is generated at the outer peripheral part in said container 10 to form an up-and-down recirculation stream as a whole, and the sedimentation of the solid substance is prevented. The accumulation of the solid substance on the stirring blades is also prevented by the angle of inclination of each stirring blade. |
