PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to maintain excellent sealability among cell units without being affected by the environmental temperature, as well as reduce the stacking load.SOLUTION: A cell unit B1 includes a separator 10 on one side with a unit cell 40 being attached, the separator 10 opposing to a separator 20 on the other side so as to partition a gas circulation space &bgr; for circulating a reaction gas. The cell unit B1 also includes a flow-channel forming part 30 in which a flow channel is formed for charging/discharging the reaction gas to/from the gas circulation space &bgr;. A cell stack A is stacking a plurality of cell units B1 with their flow-channel forming parts 30 interposed between them. A flatness securing member 50 is formed separate from the flow-channel forming part 30 in order to secure the flatness between the flow-channel forming parts 30 of neighboring other cell units B1, B1. Between the respective flow-channel forming parts 30 of neighboring two cell units B1, B1, the flatness securing member 50 is integrally fixed to one of the flow-channel forming parts 30 opposing to the flow-channel forming part 30 of the other cell unit B1. |
