<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for treatment of ammonia, capable of efficiently decomposing the ammonia. <P>SOLUTION: An ammonia treatment system includes: a first catalyst tower for decomposing a portion of the ammonia contained in a gas; a cooler for cooling the gas in which a portion of the ammonia is decomposed by the first catalyst tower; and a second catalyst tower for decomposing a portion or all of the ammonia of a remainder contained in the gas cooled by the cooler. The system further includes at least either one of a first flow path reversing apparatus for reversing the flow path of the gas flowing in the first catalyst tower and a second flow path reversing apparatus for reversing the flow path of the gas flowing in the second catalyst tower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
