According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method used by a service providing server to control transmission of contents between user terminals located near a wireless communication module includes the steps of: registering a first user account as an adjacent user of the wireless communication module when identification information of the wireless communication module is received from a first user terminal recognizing the wireless communication module; providing an adjacent user list of the wireless communication module to the first user terminal; receiving at least one selection information of a second user on the adjacent user list from the first user terminal; and connecting the first user account to a second user account in order to execute a control operation to transmit contents there-between.
