<p>The disclosure is directed to delaying a release of a quality of service (QoS) bearer. An aspect receives a session setup request from a user for a media session requiring a QoS bearer, triggers a setup of the QoS bearer for the media session, receives a session termination request from the user for the media session, and in response to receiving the session termination request, determines whether or not to delay releasing the QoS bearer based on a history of QoS bearer utilization of the user and a determination of whether or not a number of currently established QoS bearers is less than a threshold.</p> |
