The present invention provides a communication device and a communication method thereof. The communication device includes: a voltage encoder which encodes a transmission data value received from a host to a power supply voltage of the host in order to generate a voltage data signal including a first voltage level and a second voltage level; a voltage adjuster which generates a driving voltage to drive a client device connected to the host from the voltage data signal; a voltage decoder which restores the transmission data value by decoding the voltage data signal and transmits the restored transmission data value to a client device; and a current encoder which encodes a reception data value received from the client device to a current flowing between the host and the client device in order to generate a current data signal including a first current level and a second current level. The current data signal is input to the host after being converted to a voltage data signal which can be input to the host.
