<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door body which can improve the assembly strength while having a neat appearance. <P>SOLUTION: Inside end faces 21, 24, facing each other, of stiles 20, 23 on both ends have recessed grooves 21a, 24a formed in vertical direction. Both ends 11, 12 of a glass plate 10 are fitted and fixed into the recessed grooves 21a, 24a to hold the glass plate, for forming a two-sided frame type door body 1.
