According to the present invention, a light-emitting diode comprises: a first electrode; a second electrode facing the first electrode; a light-emitting layer interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; and an organic layer interposed between the first electrode and the light-emitting layer. The organic layer includes n organic layers consisting of a first organic layer to an n^th organic layer, wherein the first organic layer is formed at a position in contact with the light-emitting layer; (n-1) organic layers except for the first organic layer have a stacked structure between the first organic layer and the first electrode; n is an integer from 2 to 5; the first organic layer contains one or more compounds represented by chemical formula 1.
