PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of inspecting documents to be sealed into the same envelope even when an optical recognition code is not printed on a document.SOLUTION: A document inspection part 20 of a document inspection device 2 executes processing of, when the images of document numbers are output from an optical reading device 3, holding the images of the document numbers output from the optical reading device 3; processing of, when it is indicated that the photography of the document numbers has completed about all documents 6 to be sealed into the same envelope, performing the character recognition of all the images of the document numbers, and executing at least collation inspection for confirming whether or not the serial numbers of the document numbers are matched in all the documents 6 to be sealed into the same envelope; and processing of, when the document inspection processing ends, storing the images of the document numbers in an inspection history DB 50 of a data storage device 5 in a state that the result of the collation inspection is associated. |
