PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized resonator with a plurality of pass frequency bands, and a filter employing the resonator.SOLUTION: A resonator 10 includes a shield conductor 12, a dielectric 13 for resonance, a susceptor 14, EH mode frequency adjustment screw 15a and 15b, HE mode frequency adjustment screws 16a, 16b, 16c and 16d, a coupling adjustment screw 17 and PORTs 1 to 4. A first signal Sig1 inputted from the PORT1 is outputted from the PORT2 via an EHmode of the resonator 10, and a second signal Sig 2 inputted from the PORT3 is outputted from the PORT4 via an HEof the resonator 10. The EH mode frequency adjustment screws 15a and 15b adjust a resonant frequency of the EHmode, and coupling of an orthogonal mode of the EHmode is adjusted by the coupling adjustment screw 17. The HE mode frequency adjustment screws 16a, 16b, 16c and 16d adjust a resonant frequency of the HEmode. |
