PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality of a design of a sliding door while eliminating the risk of a door pull, by integrating the door pull into the design of the sliding door to prevent the door pull in itself from being exposed in appearance.SOLUTION: A sliding door 1 includes a sliding door body 5 which is arranged in an opening 3 of a room 2 in such a manner as to slide to be opened/closed and which has a lighting window 4 provided in such a manner as to pass through front and back sides, and a light transmission body 7 which is fitted into a fitting groove 6 provided in a recessed manner on an inner peripheral surface of the lighting window 4. Handhold recesses 9 are formed on the inner peripheral surfaces of the lighting window 4 in the range of at least 80-120 cm from a floor 8 on both the front and back sides of the light transmission body 7. |
