The applicator is used in conjunction with a variety of spreadable materials and it consists of a mop-head (2) fixed to a handle (1) which has at least one cavity (9) for the material to be spread. The cavity (9) is joined to the inside of the mop-head (1) by means of a regulator controlling the through flow of material. The handle (1) has two cylindrical cavities (8,9) of different dia. and length behind each other in a lengthwise direction, with a partition (7) inbetween in which are connecting ducts (20,21, 22). The regulator consists of vertical tubes (23,24,25) on a plate (32).
