DESIGN METHOD AND DESIGN SIMULATOR FOR TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method and a design simulator for a train control system capable of realizing optimal design in an early stage of design and development and shortening a period for the same.SOLUTION: A design method for a train control system: expresses the train control system as a statistical model; simulates train control by inputting design parameters into the statistical model; obtains probability distribution by analyzing errors in positional estimations with a time-series filter; verifies whether or not the obtained probability distribution satisfies a requirement; and decides the design parameters which bring about the probability distribution satisfying the requirement by repeating simulations and verifications with different design parameters.
