PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure sufficient amplitude of write data at the time of a writing operation associated with a termination operation.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: an input buffer IB which is connected to a data input/output terminal DQ and activated at the time of a writing operation; an output buffer OB which is connected to the data input/output terminal DQ and activated at the time of a reading operation and at the time of a writing operation; a switching circuit 49 for supplying an impedance code ZQCODE3 to the output buffer OB. The switching circuit 49 sets the impedance code ZQCODE3 at a first value at the time of a reading operation and sets the impedance code ZQCODE3 at a second valued at the time of a writing operation. According to the present embodiment, sufficient amplitude of write data can be ensured even when a data transfer rate is high. |
