PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving the color reproduction accuracy of a dot image.SOLUTION: A gradation data generation unit U1 stores a gradation value corresponding to a dot area ratio r into a peripheral part R32 of the dot, on the basis of dot data DT1 which represents a dot image 360, and further, generates input gradation data DT2 in which a gradation value corresponding to the color of a dot part R11 of the dot image 360 is stored in a core part R31 surrounded by the peripheral part R32. A color converter unit U2 converts the input gradation data DT2 into output gradation data DT4 which represents the use amount of a second color material CL2 used in an image formation apparatus (100). The color converter unit U2 performs first color conversion on the gradation value of the core R31, and also performs second color conversion, which is different from the first color conversion, on the gradation value of the peripheral part R32. |
