MODIFIED ASPHALT WATERPROOFING COMPOSITIONS USING MINERAL POWDER

The present invention relates to a denaturalized and modified asphalt waterproofing material applying mineral powder and a production method thereof. More specifically, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a denaturalized and modified asphalt waterproofing material applying mineral powder. According to the present invention, a powder denaturalizing agent containing natural bitumen is used in the waterproofing material of the present invention. Thus, consumption of synthetic rubber, an inorganic filler, and rubber processing oil decreases, thereby remarkably increasing high-temperature stability and enhancing durability as well. The present invention further relates to a production method thereof. To this end, the waterproof material of the present invention comprises: 35-45 wt% of straight asphalt; 3-10 wt% of process oil; 10-20 wt% of liquid synthetic rubber; 10-20 wt% of mineral powder containing natural bitumen; 3-10 wt% of hard calcium carbonate with the particle size of less than or equal to 325 MESH; 3-5 wt% of silica fume; 3-5 wt% of slaked lime with the particle size of less than or equal to 325 MESH; 5-15 wt% of a filler; and 1-3 wt% of water-soluble synthetic rubber latex.
