PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal aligning agent, a liquid crystal alignment film, and a liquid crystal display device that can solve the problem of high ion density after ultraviolet irradiation.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal aligning agent contains a polymeric composition (II) obtained by causing a mixture containing a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride component (a) and a diamine component (b) to react, a photopolymerizable compound (B), and a solvent (C). The diamine component (b) contains a diamine compound (b-1) having a structure represented by at least one formula (II), where Rand Reach independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a halogen atom, or a cyano group. |
