The present invention relates to a screening method of a mutant strain for overproducing target metabolite by using an artificial suicide genetic circuit and, more specifically, to a method for screening only mutant strain for overproducing metabolite, and killing a mutant strain which cannot produce metabolite by introducing an artificial suicide genetic circuit coupled with a suicide gene and a riboswitch to the mutant strain. According to the present invention, the method for screening the mutant strain for overproducing target metabolite is capable of visually identifying and separating the metabolite-overproducing mutant strain with a growth rate which is relatively fast or slow. In addition, the method is useful by replacing the riboswitch used for the artificial suicide genetic circuit with respect to the target metabolite, and being commonly applied with the artificial suicide genetic circuit to various strains. |
