Disclosed are a video coding motion vector list construction method and system. The video coding motion vector list construction method comprises: obtaining a motion information candidate list of a current prediction block based on a spatial adjacent-domain block and a time-domain corresponding block; obtaining sub-motion information candidates of a plurality of sub-blocks of the current prediction block based on respective inter-view corresponding blocks; determining the availability of the sub-motion information candidates of the plurality of sub-blocks; and updating the motion information candidate list using one sub-motion information candidate of the available sub-motion information candidates.
