PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate having in good balance, characteristics such as high generation efficiency, high glass transition point temperature, a prescribed average thermal expansion coefficient, and solubility, moldability, and devitrification prevention during production of a glass plate, when being used for a compound semiconductor solar cell.SOLUTION: In a glass plate having a prescribed composition, the Na amount (atom %) at the depth of 30 nm from its surface is 1.06 times or more and 2.0 times or less of the Na amount (atom %) at the depth of 5,000 nm, and the K amount (atom %) at the depth of 30 nm from the surface is 1.1 times or more and 4.0 times or less of the K amount (atom %) at the depth of 5,000 nm. |
