PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient low-loss power supply device and an LED lamp device.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises a power supply device to which AC or DC power is input from an input terminal, and an LED lamp 106 consisting of one or a plurality of LEDs connected in series to be connected to an output terminal of the power supply device. The power supply device comprises: a current detection circuit 307 which detects a current at the output terminal; an oscillation circuit 310 which oscillates a pulse signal of a predetermined frequency; a switching control circuit 322 connected with the oscillation circuit 310; and a switching element 316 connected with the switching control circuit 322. The switching control circuit 322 controls the oscillation circuit to output an oscillation repeating signal for performing on/off control of the switching element 316 at a predetermined frequency, and lights the LED lamp 106 by supplying a constant-current pulse current controlled on the basis of a detection signal from the current detection circuit 307. |
