PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device and a power reception device which inhibit enlargement when peripheral devices are stored in one housing and integrated and inhibit coil units from being damaged when an external force is applied from a wheel of a vehicle or the likes.SOLUTION: A power transmission device 50 transmits electric power to a power reception device 10 in a non-contact manner and includes: a power transmission unit 400 which transmits the electric power to the power reception device 10 in the non-contact manner; a power source unit 300 which supplies electric power to the power transmission unit 400 and is connected with an exterior power source; and a housing 600 which stores the power transmission unit 400 and the power source unit 300. In a state where the power transmission unit 400 and the power source unit 300 are placed on a bottom surface 610 of the housing 600, the power source unit 300 includes: a first device 702 disposed around the power transmission unit 400; and a second device 708 disposed between the power transmission unit 400 and the bottom surface 610. A height of the first device 702 from the bottom surface 610 is set so as to be higher than a height of the second device 708 from the bottom surface 610. |
