The method comprises: collecting a global image in a preset wide-area visual region; collecting at least two local images with preset definition in the preset wide-area visual region, wherein the global image at least covers an overlapping part within a view range of the local images in the preset wide-area visual region, and the sum of the view ranges of the at least two local images is greater than or equal to the view range of the global image (101); and based on the same shooting object in the local images and the global image, determining the position of the edge of the local images in the global image, and according to the position of the edge of the local images in the global image, splicing the at least two local images to obtain a synthetized wide-area image in the wide-area visual region (102). The method increases the accuracy of the spliced wide-area image.
